Welcome, Samina Morrow!

We are so excited to welcome our newest Senior Living Concierge, Samina Morrow! Samina has twenty years of experience working in healthcare. She embodies the Sunways core values of optimism, empathy, advocacy, discipline, and empowerment. We are so grateful to have Samina join our team!

What’s your previous work experience?

I have been fortunate to have worked in healthcare for organizations such as Sarasota Memorial and Tidewell Hospice for the last 20 years. Most of my previous positions have been in marketing or operations, however, I have always been “driven” by patient and family needs during what is the most challenging and emotional times of their lives.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in the beautiful city of Montreal (Canada). As a child, we visited Sarasota a couple of times a year and in my early twenties, I decided to join the rest of my family in Sarasota.

What do you do for fun?

I love traveling and experiencing diverse cultures and languages. Running and cycling are great stress relievers for me, and reading is my happy place!

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about being of service every day in any way I can. It is a small way of trying to add love and acceptance into our world.

Any weird personality traits?

I love anything technical and anything that goes fast!
